A thief threatened an elderly couple with a knife after he was disturbed during a sneak break-in on Saturday night in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

The thief produced a knife when he was spotted by the Gladys Street residents.<\/p>\n

He then demanded the couple’s car keys, phone and wallet.<\/p>\n

Police investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n

A 47-year-old woman was transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a serious condition after suffering a medical episode behind the wheel on Tuesday afternoon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police on patrol about 2:00pm spotted the woman’s car swerving at low speed on River Road, just past the Stuart River Bridge outside Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

They managed to stop the vehicle by pulling in front of it.<\/p>\n

The officers quickly determined the woman required urgent medical attention and called for an ambulance.<\/p>\n
