The two-day Gympie A Grade match between Wooroolin Warriors and Gympie Colts ended in a draw last Saturday at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

Warriors won the toss the week before and sent Colts into bat.<\/p>\n

They were all out for 96 in their first innings, and 196 all out in their second.<\/p>\n

Warriors were all out for 247 in their first dig and were 1\/16 when the match ended.<\/p>\n

Lleyton Brown (44) and\u00a0Michael Wostear (43 n\/o) were the Warrior’s top batsmen.<\/p>\n

Kieran Askin took 6\/16 and Brown 6\/39 across the two innings.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Murgon Crusaders (248 all out) defeated Gympie Royals 99 and 41 on Day 2 of their A Grade game played in Gympie.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Murgon won the toss on Day 1 and batted first, with Ashley Sippel setting the stakes high with 148 runs.<\/p>\n

Royals made 99 and were sent back in.<\/p>\n

Robert McIntosh took 3\/22 and\u00a0Graham Brown took 3\/5 in the first innings, and Nicholas Sanewski an amazing 7\/21 off eight overs to demolish Royals in the follow-on.<\/p>\n

South Burnett Seniors\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

  • Warriors Colts (8\/136) def.\u00a0 Wondai (117 all out) by 19 runs at Kingaroy State School<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Colts won the toss and batted first.<\/p>\n

    Roger Hoare (61) and Charlotte Love (29) top-scored.<\/p>\n

    J. Merritt (3\/26) and\u00a0J. Brimblecombe (2\/19) were best for Wondai.<\/p>\n

    In reply, R. Christensen (27) and\u00a0M. Cook (22) were best with the bat for Wondai.<\/p>\n

    James Whiteman (4\/24) and\u00a0Brett Simpson (2\/9) were best for Colts.<\/p>\n

    • Murgon (9\/54) def. Nanango Scorpions (48 all out) by one wicket at Murgon Sportsground<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Nanango won the toss and batted first and were all out in the 23rd over.<\/p>\n

      Joseph Steinhardt top-scored with 12.<\/p>\n

      Adrian Webster took 3\/12 off his eight overs while Jaden Heness took 2\/7 off 3.1.<\/p>\n

      In reply, Murgon overtook the target in the 16th over, despite a strong Nanango attack which took nine wickets.<\/p>\n

      Tailender Lachlan Zelinski saved the day for Murgon with 10 runs off 11 balls.<\/p>\n

      Nicholas Scherger (3\/9 off four overs),\u00a0Abby Burrows (2\/11 off three) and Joseph Steinhardt (2\/2 off two) ripped through the Murgon batters.<\/p>\n

      • Cherbourg (7\/154) drew with Kingaroy Services (8\/267) after their match at Murgon State High School was abandoned due to rain.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Kingaroy won the toss and batted first.<\/p>\n

        At the end of their 40 overs, Kingaroy were 8\/267 with Sam Scott hitting an unbeaten 127 runs.<\/p>\n

        Ryan Jacobs took 3\/37 and Lyndon Hopkins 2\/41 for Cherbourg.<\/p>\n

        Cherbourg were chasing down the target and were at 154 when the match was abandoned in the 20th over.<\/p>\n

        Openers Tom Langton (33) and Lyndon Hopkins (29) got Cherbourg off to a good start.<\/p>\n

        Luke Peters (4\/43) and Sam Wilson (1\/5) were looking dangerous for Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

                Lachlan Cullen took 2\/10 and\u00a0Rory O\u2019Connor 2\/11 for Nanango.<\/p>\n

                Lachlan did well with the bat for Nanango in reply, hitting an unbeaten 52 runs.<\/p>\n

                Thomas Town was 21 not out.<\/p>\n

                Nathaniel Reilly 1\/8 and Logan Chew 1\/7 finished with best bowling figures for Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

                Round 6 of the Wide Bay Championships was played at Murgon Sportsground:<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  Special mention must be made of Joshua Williams, who top-scored with 53 runs off just 67 balls for South Burnett but also took six wickets!<\/p>\n

                  Joshua’s bowling figures were 6\/3\u00a0off seven overs, which included five maidens!<\/p>\n

                  Jayden Prendergast took 1\/1 off three balls.<\/p>\n
