Former Cherbourg Hornets player Selwyn Cobbo – now with the Brisbane Broncos – has been selected in the 2022 Indigenous All Stars Squad.<\/p>\n

It’s a huge honour for the young star – and former South Burnett Eagle – who only made his NRL debut in Round 13 of the 2021 season.<\/p>\n

He scored his debut NRL try a week later.<\/p>\n

Cobbo was also a key part of Wynnum-Manly’s 2021 Intrust Super Cup campaign, scoring a try for the Seagulls in their narrow Grand Final loss to Norths Devils.<\/p>\n

The Indigenous All Stars will be taking on a Maori All Stars team at CommBank Stadium in Parramatta on Saturday, February 12.<\/p>\n

Footnote:\u00a0\u00a0A familiar face missing from the Indigenous line-up is South Sydney star Latrell Mitchell.\u00a0Mitchell was suspended for six competition games for an illegal tackle ahead of last year’s NRL Grand Final.\u00a0The NRL has cleared him to play in the Rabbitohs’ pre-season games, including the Charity Shield against St George-Illawarra, but has ruled him out of the All Stars game. The All Stars clash does not carry NRL competition points but is classed as a representative match.<\/em><\/p>\n
