Member for Maranoa David Littleproud has reminded South Burnett residents that applications are now open for the Federal Government’s Building Better Regions Fund.<\/p>\n

“Whether you\u2019re involved with a local council, community group, sporting club or school P&C \u2013 and anything in between \u2013 I encourage you to apply for funding under the Coalition Federal Government\u2019s Building Better Regions Fund,” Mr Littleproud said.<\/p>\n

“BBRF applications are now open, paving the way for new projects which regional communities deserve to be funded and delivered.<\/p>\n

“Regional Australians deserve the same services and opportunities that people in metropolitan cities have and the Building Better Regions Fund helps make this happen.<\/p>\n

“This opportunity was created by the Nationals in a Coalition Government to support our rural and remote communities \u2013 like where you live \u2013 where funding under Round 6 takes this government\u2019s total investment through the BBRF to $1.38 billion.<\/p>\n

“Projects will be funded under two streams.<\/p>\n

“The Infrastructure Projects Stream<\/a><\/strong> supports the construction of new infrastructure, or the upgrade or extension of existing infrastructure.<\/p>\n

“The Community Investments Stream<\/a><\/strong> funds community development activities including, but not limited to, new or expanded local events, strategic regional plans, leadership and capability building activities.”<\/p>\n
