About 110 festive Christmas hampers are now on their way to local families thanks to the generosity of South Burnett residents.<\/p>\n

The hampers, each packed to suit a family’s needs, are made up of non-perishable donations which have been dropped off to local police stations, Bill Hull Car Centre in Kingaroy or Kingaroy Shoppingworld.<\/p>\n

This is the fourth year the Christmas Food Drive has been organised by the Bill Hull Car Centre,\u00a0South Burnett CTC and police.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The donations have been sorted by CTC staff for the past few days at the South Burnett Enterprise Centre to make sure all food items were suitable and food items were within their use-by dates.<\/p>\n

CTC support workers took delivery of the hampers on Tuesday morning for distribution to their clients.<\/p>\n

This year, 15 hampers will also be distributed by Eva’s Place.<\/p>\n

Jacqui Trace, from\u00a0Bill Hull Car Centre, said the\u00a0Christmas Food Drive was getting bigger and better every year, thanks to the support of small businesses and the community.<\/p>\n
