December 13, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n

A female cyclist was transported to Kingaroy Hospital with serious leg injuries after being hit by a truck near Cheers Triangle in Kingaroy on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Youngman and Avoca streets about 11:45am after reports a cyclist had been struck, apparently as the truck turned left into Avoca Street.<\/p>\n

QAS paramedics worked at the scene to stabilise the woman, aged in her 40s, before transporting her to hospital.<\/p>\n

A police spokesperson said the Forensic Crash Unit had been called and investigations into the cause of the incident were continuing.<\/p>\n
