Eleven local groups have received a total of more than $306,000 from the latest round of Gambling Community Benefit Fund grants.<\/p>\n

Included among the successful applicants was Tanduringie State School who received $35,000 to install a new playground.<\/p>\n

Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington announced the successful grant at the annual Tanduringie State School Picnic Day and congratulated them on their successful application.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a fantastic result for the Tanduringie State School P&C,” Mrs Frecklington said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are 11 groups across the South Burnett and Gympie regions who have been successful with their grant applications to undertake community projects, infrastructure upgrades and purchase equipment.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to congratulate these hard working clubs and the volunteers who put their time into securing these worthwhile projects that will greatly benefit our community.”<\/p>\n
