Western Downs Regional Council has appointed long-serving staff member Jodie Taylor as its new Chief Executive Officer.<\/p>\n

CEO Taylor was officially appointed to the role at Council’s Ordinary Meeting on Wednesday following a recruitment process.<\/p>\n

Mayor Paul McVeigh said the appointment signified a new era of leadership in the region.<\/p>\n

“CEO Taylor brings a wealth of local knowledge, experience, and capacity to communicate and engage with staff, businesses and the broader community,” Cr McVeigh said.<\/p>\n

Mrs Taylor has more than 25 years of experience in local government and has worked for Western Downs for the past 15 years.<\/p>\n

She has been the General Manager for Community and Liveability for the past six years and has been Acting CEO since former CEO Ross Musgrove resigned in August.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
