A Wondai farmer has won $150,000 on a $10 Jumbo Crosswords Instant Scratch-It bought at the Wondai Newsagency.<\/p>\n

\u201cI usually get an Instant Scratch-Its ticket once or twice a week, but this time I got a lucky one,\u201d he told an official from The Lott.<\/p>\n

\u201cI took it home and scratched it. At first, I thought I had nine words and thought that was good. Then I kept looking and saw 10 words, which is better, and then I kept going and had 13 words!<\/p>\n

\u201cI had to get someone to double-check the ticket, just to make sure.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe largest I\u2019ve ever won on an Instant Scratch-It is $50, so this is a little bit better than that.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will take the pressure off life a bit, but I\u2019ll wait until the money\u2019s in the bank before making any big decisions.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a good time of year to win.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s made my Christmas. Rain and a win \u2013 too many good bits in one go but a great way to end the year!\u201d<\/p>\n

Wondai Newsagency owner John Robinson said a win like this gave everyone in town a boost.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s wonderful! It\u2019s part of why we do this job really \u2013 the excitement of the time and how a win can make a difference to a customer\u2019s life,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve sold a couple of decent scratchie wins over the years, but it\u2019s been a while since the last one.<\/p>\n
