The State Government says more than one million Queenslanders have now linked their COVID-19 digital certificate to the Check In Qld app so they can live life to the fullest from December 17.

Digital Economy Minister Leeanne Enoch said linking your COVID-19 digital certificate to the Check in Qld app was the easiest way to get ready for the changes to restrictions that are coming in a couple of weeks.

Minister Enoch said linking a COVID-19 digital certificate to the Check In Qld app was optional.

“People can also download a copy of their COVID-19 digital certificate to their Apple wallet or Google Pay to show or provide a printed copy of their immunisation history statement if they prefer,” she said.
