A 28-year-old Coalbank man has been charged in connection with a string of violent incidents which occurred on a Brisbane train on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Police were called to Northgate train station about 4:00pm after reports people had been assaulted on a carriage, the youngest only 11-months-old.<\/p>\n

Police will allege they located a number of victims with injuries, aged between 11 months and 78 years.<\/p>\n

A man was arrested and taken to the Brisbane Watchhouse where it will be alleged he assaulted two police officers.<\/p>\n

He was taken to hospital for treatment and was later charged with six counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, one count each of serious assault person over 60 and common assault and two counts of serious assault police officers causing bodily harm.<\/p>\n

He appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday and was remanded in custody to reappear on January 12.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
