The rain washed out all South Burnett Cricket Association junior and senior cricket games scheduled to be played on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Preliminary Final\u00a0in the Gympie A Grade 40-Over competition – due to be played between Wooroolin Warriors and Gympie Colts on Saturday – was also washed out in Gympie.<\/p>\n

This match had been to determine the second spot in Grand Final of the 40-over competition.<\/p>\n

As the game was officially declared a draw, Warriors will now go through to face Murgon Crusaders in the final, scheduled to be played at\u00a0Keith Manthey Oval in Gympie on December 11.<\/p>\n

Gympie T20 Cup<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Round 1 of the Gympie A Grade T20 Cup was played on Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wooroolin Warriors (4\/101) defeated Murgon Crusaders (6\/99) by six wickets at Spencer Oval in Gympie.<\/p>\n

Murgon won the toss and batted first.<\/p>\n

Ashley Sippel (41) and Harrison Sippel (20) were the top scorers after opener Kurt McArthur was forced to retire after just three overs.<\/p>\n

Jack Hourn took 4\/22 for Wooroolin.<\/p>\n

In reply, Brett Simpson (36) and Jack Hourn (41) top-scored for the Warriors.<\/p>\n

Thomas Currin took 2\/13 off three overs for Murgon.<\/p>\n
