North Burnett Regional Council has ended uncertainty over the future of four long-distance coach routes.<\/p>\n

Transport Minister Mark Bailey said an agreement has now been locked in with the State Government.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019re very pleased to announce the continuation of these routes under new contracts which deliver accessible and efficient passenger transport that meet local community needs.” Mr Bailey said.<\/p>\n

\u201cNorth Burnett Regional Council will continue to operate four long-distance coach routes between Mundubbera, Maryborough and Bundaberg, and an on demand service between Monto and Ceratodus.<\/p>\n

\u201cLocking in contracts for the next five years is an outcome that provides certainty to regional communities <\/strong><\/p>\n

The North Burnett coach routes are\u00a0Mundubbera-Bundaberg,\u00a0Mundubbera-Maryborough,\u00a0Mundubbera-Bundaberg (via Eidsvold) and\u00a0Monto-Ceratodus (on demand).<\/p>\n

The Monto to Mundubbera coach service was not renewed due to very low demand.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
