South Burnett Regional Council’s first Health and Community Services Expo filled the Kingaroy Town Hall with exhibits on Thursday and Friday last week.<\/p>\n

The free two-day expo shone a spotlight on the various health services available in the region and also provided an opportunity for health professionals to network and learn more about each other’s services.<\/p>\n

Free COVID-19 vaccinations were also available in the Town Hall Reception Room.<\/p>\n

Organiser Margie Hams said she was pleased with the roll up from health and community organisations with 55 stalls booked in.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Expo was open to the public on from noon to 5:00pm on Thursday and from 8:00am to 3:00pm on Friday.<\/p>\n

On Thursday evening, a special meet’n’greet for health workers was held in the Kingaroy Town Hall Forecourt with Kingaroy Rotary manning the bar, JC Catering providing the nibbles and live music from Rob Fitz-Herbert.<\/p>\n

“It’s been a good couple of days for our first go,” Margie said.<\/p>\n

“It’s been a really good opportunity for the community to visit and for stallholders to meet with each other.”<\/p>\n

The Expo was held with support from the\u00a0Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN.<\/p>\n
