Kingaroy police are investigating a break-and-enter which occurred on Friday night.<\/p>\n

The thieves broke into a residence in Julie Street and stole cash, jewellery and a coin collection.<\/p>\n

Investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On November 16, police were called after reports of vehicle with an unrestrained child in front seat.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police located the vehicle at a Doonkuna Street address.<\/p>\n

Police spoke to a 26-year-old Kingaroy man who stated the child had been restrained however investigations allegedly identified the man had never held a driver’s licence.<\/p>\n

He was issued with a notice to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on December 13.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Police were called to a disturbance in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy, at 8:10pm last Tuesday after reports two boys were smashing glass bottles on a roadway.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police located a 15-year-old Kingaroy boy and 14-year old Kingaroy boy. While talking to the boys a 53-year-old Kingaroy man approached and allegedly began abusing police.<\/p>\n

The 14-year-old boy was dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act. The 15-year-old boy will appear in Kingaroy Children\u2019s Court at a later date for allegedly committing a public nuisance offence and obstructing police.<\/p>\n

The 53-year-old man was issued with infringement notices for a committing public nuisance ($413 fine) and obstructing police ($413 fine).<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A\u00a037-year-old Wattle Camp man\u00a0will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on January 6 charged with drug driving after police stopped a\u00a0Holden sedan on Silky Oak Drive, Kingaroy, about 10:00am on Thursday.<\/p>\n

On Friday, Kingaroy police were called to a Fisher Street address in relation to another matter.<\/p>\n

While there, a 53-year-old Kingaroy man was allegedly found in possession of a small quantity of cannabis and drug utensils. He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on December 13.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
