Murgon RSL Sub-Branch will almost $5000 from the Federal Government\u2019s “Building Excellence in Support and Training” (BEST) grants program.<\/p>\n

Member for Wide Bay Llew O’Brien said the Sub-Branch would receive\u00a0$4836.75 to help continue their important advocacy work<\/p>\n

He congratulated the Sub-Branch for their tireless work to support veterans and their families.<\/p>\n

“And I would also like to encourage veterans who may require additional assistance to reach out to them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Across Australia, 127 ex-service organisations received $4.35 million through the 2021 round of the BEST Program.<\/p>\n

The grants can be used to cover costs such as salaries for trained pension advocates and administrative assistants; essential equipment and administration expenses including computer equipment; and internet access for pension and welfare work.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
