TAFE’s Kingaroy Hospitality students have been working hard over the past few weeks preparing bistro lunches for the public at the college’s Taabinga Room Training Restaurant as part of their training.<\/p>\n

The students are being guided by local chef Jason Ford<\/strong> and TAFE Hospitality Teacher Sylvia Gibson<\/strong> in all aspects of restaurant functions.<\/p>\n

The lunches are open to the public and always prove popular, however bookings are essential.<\/p>\n

The current round will run every Wednesday from noon to 2:00pm through to June 20.<\/p>\n

The menu consists of a complimentary appetiser, choice between two entrees, mains and desserts.<\/p>\n

Main dishes are about $6.50. The Taabinga Room Restaurant is fully licensed but a variety of Mocktails are also available.<\/p>\n

The TAFE College appreciates public support for their aspiring chefs. The restaurant atmosphere gives the students valuable hands-on experience as they progress through their studies.<\/p>\n
