{"id":308793,"date":"2021-11-05T12:44:39","date_gmt":"2021-11-05T02:44:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=308793"},"modified":"2022-02-11T20:03:55","modified_gmt":"2022-02-11T10:03:55","slug":"arts-training-to-build-resilience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2021\/11\/05\/arts-training-to-build-resilience\/","title":{"rendered":"Arts Training To Build Resilience"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_308794\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-308794\" style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/scotia1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-308794\" src=\"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/scotia1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"251\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-308794\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Scotia Monkivitch (Photo: CRN)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>November 5, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An arts workshop aimed at teaching participants how to better support\u00a0 their communities during difficult times will be held in Kingaroy later this month.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Creative Recovery Training is being organised by the\u00a0Creative Recovery Network and CQRASN.<\/p>\n<p>The Creative Recovery Network is a national agency that advocates for the role of arts and culture within disaster management.<\/p>\n<p>It was established in response to the growing recognition of the value of the arts in preparing for and recovering from disasters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The workshop aims to allow attendees to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand the way trauma affects communities and how best to plan and present support programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a planning framework to support community project planning and facilitation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Have resources and skills to support community project development within a disaster context<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Be connected to like-minded people<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The training is being facilitated by Scotia Monkivitch and will be held at the South Burnett Enterprise Centre from November 19-21<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cost is $20.<\/p>\n<p>For more information contact CQRASN Project Officer Trudie Leigo on (07) 4150-7736 or <strong><a href=\"mailto:t.leigo@cqu.edu.au\">by email<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This training has been made possible thanks to a grant under the Commonwealth \/ State Disaster Recovery Funding, and\u00a0is also supported by CQ University and the South Burnett Regional Council.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An arts workshop aimed at teaching participants how to better support\u00a0 their communities during difficult times will be held in Kingaroy later this month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":20,"featured_media":308795,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[863,3],"tags":[23],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
