The merger of the Queensland Dairyfarmers Organisation members with NSW-based Dairy Connect will go ahead on December 1.<\/p>\n

The new body will be known as\u00a0eastAUSmilk.<\/p>\n

The QDO and Dairy Connect have been exploring a possible merger for years.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, QDO members voted at an Extraordinary General Meeting to amend the QDO constitution to include NSW.<\/p>\n

QDO president Brian Tessmann said\u00a0104 votes were cast, 96 in favour and eight against.<\/p>\n
