Seven young South Burnett rugby league players have been selected for Wide Bay Bulls’ 2022 training squads.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Wide Bay Rugby League announced the Bulls’ squads for the statewide U16s Cyril Connell Challenge and U18s Mal Meninga Cup competitions.<\/p>\n

Selected in the U16s squad were Malakye Blow, Mathaniel Cuthbertson and Charlie Sippel.<\/p>\n

In the U18s squad are Tyrell Hopkins, Fletch Prendergast, Damon Strauf and Lachlan Zelinski.<\/p>\n

2019 South Burnett Eagle of the Year trophy winner Glen Fisher has been selected for the train-on squad for Easts Tigers in the 2022 Hastings Deerings Colts competition.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Glen played almost all his junior rugby league with the Murgon Mustangs.<\/p>\n

He has also represented the South Burnett Eagles, Wide Bay Bulls and Central Qld Crows.<\/p>\n
