A 25-year-old Wondai man has lost the use of his car for 90 days after police allegedly spotted him doing a burnout.<\/p>\n

About 5:40pm on Tuesday, October 12, police say they observed a white Holden Commodore sedan doing a burnout at the intersection of Scott and Cadell streets, Wondai.<\/p>\n

The vehicle then drove west on Cadell Street.<\/p>\n

The driver was issued with an infringement notice for wilfully making unnecessary noise and smoke, and the vehicle was immobilised for 90 days.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Between 11:30am and 3:30pm on Saturday, October 16, a thief entered a home in Smyth Street, Murgon, and stole prescription drugs.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n

Later the same day at 10:50pm, police attended an address in the same street in relation to a noise complaint, where a 49-year-old Cherbourg man allegedly failed to provide his name and address.<\/p>\n

The man was arrested and later released on bail to appear at Murgon Magistrates Court on November 9.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h3>\n

About midnight on Saturday, a security camera was damaged at a business in Lamb Street, Murgon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n

Soon afterwards, at about 12:25am, police intercepted a vehicle on Cherbourg Road, Murgon for the purpose of a roadside breath test and licence check.<\/p>\n

A 23-year-old Lawnton woman was charged with unlicenced driving (demerit point suspended) and is due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on November 9.<\/p>\n

About 1:50pm, police executed a search warrant on a Lower Red Hill Road, Wondai.\u00a0During the search, police allegedly located a quantity of cannabis, cannabis plants and drug utensils.<\/p>\n

A 57-year-old Wondai man was issued with a notice to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on November 23 charged with producing drugs and possessing drugs and drug utensils.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h3>\n

At some time between 4:00pm on October 20 and 8:13am on October 21, unknown offenders broke into a business in Barambah Avenue, Cherbourg.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The offenders damaged a window and gained access through the window.<\/p>\n

Later – at some time between 8:30pm on October 20 and 8:00am on October 21 – unknown offenders broke into a different business in Fisher Street, Cherbourg.<\/p>\n

The offenders caused damage to a wooden security door frame in an attempt to gain entry, then damaged the adjacent security window mesh by removing it from its frame.<\/p>\n

It is unknown if any property was taken in either incident, but investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Between 3:05am and 7:00am on Thursday, October 21, unknown offenders gained unlawful entry to a hospital facility in Cherbourg and damaged a flyscreen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is unknown if any items were taken, and investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n

Later the same day, about 5:50pm, a business was broken into in Macalister Street, Murgon.\u00a0Two 12-year-old Murgon boys have been charged with enter premises and commit indictable offence and will appear in Murgon Children\u2019s Magistrates Court.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h3>\n

At some time between 11:00am and 5.45pm on Sunday, October 24, unknown offenders attended a property on Morgans Road at Windera and damaged a star picket on a gate which secured a cattle enclosure.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This damage caused the cattle to wander out of their enclosure.<\/p>\n

Investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h3>\n

About 3:15pm on Saturday, October 30, a rock was thrown at a vehicle parked at Cherbourg State School. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The passenger side mirror was smashed.<\/p>\n

Investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n

Later the same day, about 11:00pm, a 32-year-old Cherbourg man was evicted from a Murgon hotel due to alleged disorderly behaviour.<\/p>\n

The man allegedly re-entered the premises and was removed again, and when police arrived it is alleged the man continued to be disorderly and failed to comply with directions.<\/p>\n

He was subsequently arrested and charged with refuse entry to licenced premises, commit public nuisance and obstructing a police officer.<\/p>\n

The man was bailed to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on November 23.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
