A Gympie truck driver who visited Bundaberg is one of three new COVID-19 cases announced in Queensland on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the truckie had tested positive in NSW, so the case would not be added to Queensland statistics.<\/p>\n

However, the driver is believed to have visited Bundaberg while infectious.<\/p>\n

The Fresh Fields FoodWorks on Thabeban Street has been listed as a low-risk contact site.<\/p>\n

The period of concern is between 4:00pm-4:54pm on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Other updated contact tracing locations include the BP Caboolture (southbound) on the Bruce Highway between 9:05pm and 9:35pm on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The two new locally acquired cases which will be added to Queensland figures are an unvaccinated 17-year-old who lives on the Gold Coast and a woman from Melbourne aged in her 30s who was in home quarantine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The teenager is believed to be linked to a family cluster over the NSW border in Tweed Heads.<\/p>\n

Premier Palaszczuk said the Melbourne woman was considered to be low-risk however she said the latest cases were proof the State was not immune to the pandemic, and just one case could spark a massive outbreak.<\/p>\n

The Premier warned that time was running out for Queenslanders to be fully vaccinated before the borders reopen on December 17.<\/p>\n
