Murgon Sportsground hosted a full-round of junior games on Saturday plus a Round 2 match from the Bundaberg Rugby League’s Under 18s competition.<\/p>\n

The Murgon Mustangs scored four tries to defeat the Eastern Suburbs Magpies 22-12.<\/p>\n

Murgon now leads the U18s competition on for and against; also undefeated are Wests Panthers and Fraser Coast (who had a bye in Round 1).<\/p>\n

Next weekend Murgon is scheduled to take on Across The Waves in Bundaberg.<\/p>\n

No senior games were played in the South Burnett at the weekend due to representative games played at Monto.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nBoth Kingaroy wins were comebacks won on the dying stages after very close matches.<\/p>\n
