Two people have been charged with traffic and drug offences after police stopped a vehicle in Murgon on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

A police spokesperson said a vehicle containing two occupants was intercepted in Lamb Street.<\/p>\n

The vehicle allegedly had false plates and was already subject to a\u00a0seven-day immobilising order.<\/p>\n

During a search, police allegedly located cannabis, drug utensils and a used syringe.<\/p>\n

Police subsequently executed a search warrant at an address in Edward Street, Wondai.<\/p>\n

It is alleged that during this search police located more cannabis and a drug utensil.<\/p>\n

A 45-year-old Point Vernon woman has been charged with unlicensed driving, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, displaying false plates, operating a vehicle during a number plate confiscation period, removing a number plate confiscation notice, and failing to dispose of a needle and syringe.<\/p>\n

She is due to appear in the Murgon Magistrates Court on November 30.<\/p>\n

A 49-year-old Wondai man has been charged with possessing drugs and a drug utensil, permitting a person to drive an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, displaying false plates, operating a vehicle during a number plate confiscation period, removing a number plate confiscation notice, and breaching bail.<\/p>\n

He was refused bail and will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
