Free vaccinations will be available in the Bunnings Kingaroy carpark this weekend<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A free, pop-up vaccination clinic will be running this weekend at Kingaroy’s Bunnings store.<\/p>\n

The Kingaroy store is one of 33 Bunnings locations across Queensland which will be hosting COVID-19 vaccination clinics this weekend.<\/p>\n

Health Minister Yvette D\u2019Ath said Queensland Health was working hard to reach as many corners of the State as possible through targeted pop-up vaccination clinics.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re hoping tradies, renovators, DIY regulars, casual shoppers and those there for the sausage sizzle will all come forward to get vaccinated,” Minister D’Ath said.<\/p>\n

“We thank Bunnings for their help to get these sites operational.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you see a vaccination clinic at your local Bunnings and haven\u2019t yet been vaccinated, please walk in and get the jab.”<\/p>\n

Bunnings managing director Mike Schneider said the company was pleased to be helping Queensland Health.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe hope it makes accessing vaccinations as easy and convenient as picking up an item for a weekend DIY project,\u201d Mr Schneider said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve always tried to play an active role supporting the local communities where we operate, so providing space to Queensland Health to accelerate the vaccination rollout just makes sense.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike everyone, we can\u2019t wait to see the whole community protected so we can all get back to doing the things we love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anyone aged 12 and over is eligible for the Pfizer vaccine at all Queensland Health vaccination locations.<\/p>\n
