Bond Bridge had been removed from the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>When would the project be reconsidered, given the Nanango Electorate had recorded Queensland&#8217;s second highest fatalities in the first half of this year?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Minister Bailey said a budget of $13.05 million had been approved\u00a0for the project and remained allocated.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As part of its due diligence, TMR has been investigating engineering options to replace the bridge on a new alignment,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These investigations have resulted in the need to consider alternative alignments due to identified complex construction constraints.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Minister said he had now asked TMR to contact Mrs Frecklington&#8217;s office to arrange a briefing on the project.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Related article: <a href=\"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2021\/08\/27\/bridges-stripped-of-funding\/\">Bridges Stripped Of Funding<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Work to upgrade a dangerous, narrow bridge on the Chinchilla-Wondai Road has been delayed but not defunded, says Transport Minister Mark Bailey.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":306973,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[3],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
