A program aimed at creating positive change in the community will be launching in Nanango next month.<\/p>\n

Three “wellbeing” workshops have been scheduled by the Nanango Tourism and Development Association (NaTDA) at the Old Masonic Lodge in Gipps Street, Nanango.<\/p>\n

The first two will be held from 9:30am to 11:30am on Tuesday, October 5, and Tuesday, October 12.<\/p>\n

The third will be an evening event, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm on Monday, October 18.<\/p>\n

The workshops will be presented by Bunyarra Counselling and Mediation, the same group which has been working with the Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s SMILE program with Kingaroy businesses.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“This program is to create hope, it is to create change, it is to build resilience, and to ultimately and proactively to save lives,” a spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

“As a community we are strong. As a community we can make a difference.”<\/p>\n

The Nanango Community Wellbeing Initiative is being sponsored by Heritage Nanango Community Fund.<\/strong><\/p>\n
