The Nanango Soccer Club is now the proud owner of a new brushcutter, thanks to sponsorship from the Heritage Bank Nanango.<\/p>\n

Panthers’ volunteers maintain the Alan Downie Sports Fields in Burnett Street during the soccer season to make sure the playing conditions are great.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the new brushcutter, the job will now be a lot easier,\u201d club secretary Alex Psarros said.<\/p>\n

It’s been a big year for the club, with both the men’s and women’s senior teams making the Grand Finals, with the women taking home the trophy.<\/p>\n

The Panthers are also busy gearing up for their 40th anniversary formal dinner which will be held on October 9 at Nanango RSL Club.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The dinner is booked out, but the club is still looking for memorabilia to display on the big night.<\/p>\n

The committee is especially looking for any photos from before 2000.<\/p>\n
