Coffee With A Cop is returning to Kingaroy Shoppingworld later this month<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Kingaroy Police are bringing their popular “Coffee With A Cop” back to Kingaroy Shoppingworld this month.<\/p>\n

Local residents have been invited to drop into Muffin Break between 10:00am and 11:30am on Tuesday, September 28.<\/p>\n

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Dave Tierney, said it was an opportunity for residents to come along to meet local officers and have a chat.<\/p>\n

Coffee with a Cop is a state-wide initiative by the QPS to give members of the community the opportunity to talk to local police about any issues, concerns, or questions they have, all while sharing a cup of coffee together.<\/p>\n

The South Burnett’s annual National Police Remembrance Day service will be held the next day, September 29.<\/strong><\/p>\n

National Police Remembrance Day is held every year to honour police officers across the country who have lost their lives and ensure their sacrifices are never forgotten.<\/p>\n

In the South Burnett, the service rotates every year between towns and congregations.<\/p>\n

The 2021 service will be hosted by Nanango’s Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Gipps Street from 10:00am.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
