Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council CEO Chatur Zala has been presented with the top award at the annual conference of the Local Government Managers Australia (Queensland).<\/p>\n

The LGMA is the peak body for Local Government professionals in Australia.<\/p>\n

The Queensland “Manager Of The Year” award recognises outstanding leadership and management excellence in local government.<\/p>\n

It is open to senior managers who are employed by a Queensland local government and have been for a minimum of 12 months.<\/p>\n

Nominations can be made by employers, mayors, councillors, supervisors or co-workers.<\/p>\n
