A woman has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after her vehicle rolled into a ditch in Kilkivan on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

An RACQ LifeFlight spokesperson said the woman was driving directly behind her husband, travelling in a separate vehicle, when the incident occurred.<\/p>\n

She was rounding a bend when she apparently lost control of her vehicle, which ran off the road and flipped end-over-end into the three-metre deep ditch.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the incident, near Fraser Street, just before 8:30am.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson said the couple had been driving to their grandchild’s graduation event.<\/p>\n

Emergency services personnel and the LifeFlight aeromedical team worked together to transfer the injured woman into the waiting rescue helicopter, which landed nearby.<\/p>\n

The woman, aged in her seventies, suffered multiple injuries and was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.<\/p>\n

Four people were injured – including an elderly couple with serious injuries – after a car rolled on a private property in the Glastonbury area on Saturday afternoon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue and LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service helicopters – both based in Toowoomba – were called to the incident about 3:30pm.<\/p>\n

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics treated the patients at the scene.<\/p>\n

A 50-year-old woman and a 26-year-old woman were taken to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.<\/p>\n

The elderly couple were taken by ambulance to the waiting helicopters, which had landed on a nearby sportsground.<\/p>\n

The 77-year-old woman was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition with head injuries.<\/p>\n

The man, aged in his eighties, was flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with suspected head and arm injuries.<\/p>\n

A young person was airlifted to hospital on Saturday morning after a horse-riding fall at Bell.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the Bell Showgrounds just after 8:00am.<\/p>\n
