September 13, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n

Firefighters were called just after 7:00pm on Sunday to a hay shed fire on Goomeri West Road at Goomeri.<\/p>\n

A QFES spokesperson said the first crews on the scene found the shed – which also contained machinery and vehicles – engulfed in flames.<\/p>\n

More fire crews were called, with a total of seven rural and urban units battling the blaze.<\/p>\n

A tractor was used to pull out and separate the hay bales so they could be extinguished.<\/p>\n

Firefighters had the hay extinguished and the area made safe by 12:30am.<\/p>\n
