Rugby league is not quite over, but cricket is back!<\/p>\n

Murgon Crusaders will be taking on Wooroolin Warriors in a 40-over game this Saturday (September 11) at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

This is Round 1 of the Gympie Cricket Association competition.<\/p>\n

The 2021-22 Gympie competition will also include a T20 Cup and Two-Day Shield competitions.<\/p>\n

Last season, Murgon Crusaders took out all three crowns.<\/p>\n

The South Burnett Senior competition will get under way in early October with extra teams getting ready to take to the pitch.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The draw is yet to be finalised, but at the moment there will be teams from Nanango, Murgon, Kumbia, Wondai, Cherbourg, Kingaroy and two Wooroolin teams – the Colts and Vikings.<\/p>\n

The junior competition will consist of\u00a0Stage 2 (Under 12s) and Stage 3\u00a0(Under 15s).<\/p>\n
