A fire which razed a home at Chelmsford on Tuesday is not being treated as suspicious.<\/p>\n

Six fire crews were called to the blaze, on Weirs Road, at 2:53pm and arrived within minutes.<\/p>\n

A QFES spokesperson said they found the single-story building alight.<\/p>\n

They trained hoses on the flames but could not stop the structure from collapsing about 30 minutes later.<\/p>\n

Fire crews had the blaze extinguished by 4:30pm but remained on site dampening down until about 6:30pm.<\/p>\n

The home – and all the family’s possessions – were completely destroyed.<\/p>\n

The QFES spokesperson said because of the amount of damage, the cause of the fire was not able to be determined but there were no suspicious circumstances.<\/p>\n

No one was injured in the incident.<\/p>\n
