Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service Chief Executive Dr Peter Gillies is heading to a new appointment.<\/p>\n

Dr Gillies, who has been with Darling Downs Health for 12 years, has been appointed CEO of the Sunshine Coast\u00a0Hospital and Health Service.<\/p>\n

He moved to Toowoomba in 2009 to take up the role of Director Medical Services.<\/p>\n

He was appointed Executive Director of Medical Services in February 2011 and then General Manager Toowoomba Hospital in July 2013.<\/p>\n

He was appointed Health Service Chief Executive in May 2016.<\/p>\n

A replacement for Dr Gillies has not yet been announced.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
