{"id":304777,"date":"2021-08-27T13:07:04","date_gmt":"2021-08-27T03:07:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=304777"},"modified":"2021-08-27T13:07:17","modified_gmt":"2021-08-27T03:07:17","slug":"covid-restrictions-ease-again-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2021\/08\/27\/covid-restrictions-ease-again-2\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID Restrictions Ease Again"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_176862\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-176862\" style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/palaszczuk-200.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-176862\" src=\"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/palaszczuk-200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"348\" srcset=\"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/palaszczuk-200.jpg 200w, https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/palaszczuk-200-172x300.jpg 172w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-176862\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>August 27, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>COVID-19 restrictions are easing again in Queensland.<\/p>\n<p>From 4:00pm on Friday (August 27), restrictions in the 11 south-east Queensland council areas will shift to the level elsewhere in the State &#8211; except for masks.<\/p>\n<p>This means restrictions on public gatherings, stadium capacity and home visitors will now be consistent across Queensland, except for additional mask requirements in south-east Queensland.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said Queensland was entering Stage 3 of the &#8220;Unite and Recover Roadmap&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #006699;\"><strong>Movement and Gatherings<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Up to 100 people can gather in homes.<\/strong> There is no limit for people gathering in public spaces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Indoor funerals and wedding ceremonies:<\/strong> One person per 2sq m\u00a0 or 200 people or 100 per cent allocated seated and ticketed capacity (whichever is the greater).\u00a0All wedding guests can dance (indoors and outdoors), subject to the one person per 2 sq m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Indoor premises:<\/strong> One person per 2 sq m or 100 per cent allocated seated and ticketed capacity (eg. restaurants, caf\u00e9s, pubs, clubs, museums, art galleries, places of worship and convention centres) with the COVID Safe Checklist.\u00a0Eating or drinking while standing allowed.\u00a0One person per 2 sq m\u00a0for short-term accommodation (including hostels, B&amp;Bs and short-term rentals) with the COVID Safe Checklist. Density requirements do not apply in sleeping areas.\u00a0One person per 2 sq m at indoor play areas with the COVID Safe Checklist.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Self-service food:<\/strong> No restrictions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #006699;\"><strong>Stadiums, Indoor and Outdoor Events<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>100 per cent allocated seated and ticketed for stadiums.\u00a0Patrons must wear a mask at all times, including when seated.\u00a0Patrons must be seated to eat and drink. Masks can be removed when eating or drinking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>100 per cent allocated seated and ticketed capacity for indoor events or one person per\u00a02 sq m indoors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>No restrictions on outdoor events, however you are encouraged to wear a mask when you are unable to physically distance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ticketed venues:<\/strong> 100% capacity with allocated seating (eg. theatre, live music, cinemas, indoor sports, universities and other higher education institutions).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Community sport:<\/strong> No restrictions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #006699;\"><strong>Masks<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Masks must be worn at stadiums, at an airport, and on domestic or international flights departing or arriving in Queensland.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #006699;\"><strong>Masks In SE Qld\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan City, Moreton Bay, Redlands, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Noosa, Somerset, Lockyer Valley and Scenic Rim LGAs.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>People\u00a0must carry a face mask at all times when they leave home, unless they have a lawful reason not to.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Public Transport and ride share:<\/strong> must wear a mask including while waiting for the transport in a public space such as a bus stop, taxi rank or train station.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Outdoors:<\/strong> you must wear a mask when unable to stay 1.5m apart from people who are not part of your household.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Indoors:<\/strong> you must wear a mask in indoor spaces (including workplaces, but not your own home) unless it is unsafe or you can stay 1.5m apart from other people.
