A woman charged with stalking a South Burnett councillor has been released on bail.<\/p>\n

Judith Ann Schulz, 57, from Tingoora, appeared via videolink in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Monday.<\/p>\n

She has been held in custody since bail was refused on July 8.<\/p>\n

At that time, police alleged Ms Schulz had breached the conditions upon which she was released at an earlier hearing.<\/p>\n

In May, she was charged with two counts of extortion and one count of unlawful stalking involving Cr Scott Henschen.<\/p>\n

She later faced a new charge of stalking as well as allegations she had breached her bail conditions.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Magistrate\u00a0Andrew Sinclair\u00a0granted Ms Schulz new bail, again under strict conditions, after the prosecution failed to produce a brief of evidence by their August 12 deadline.<\/p>\n

Ms Schulz is due to appear back in court on\u00a0September 27.<\/p>\n
