The University of Southern Queensland will be holding an Open Day this Sunday (August 15) for prospective students.<\/p>\n

Vice-Chancellor Professor Geraldine Mackenzie encouraged people to come along to be inspired by a passionate team of lecturers and current students.<\/p>\n

The Open Day will run from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the uni’s campus in West Street, Darling Heights.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a great opportunity to get questions answered and explore our suite of industry-relevant degrees,\u201d Prof Mackenzie said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAlongside information sessions and campus tours, attendees will get a chance to participate in hands-on activities that will get them excited to start their studies.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor example, you can explore our research laboratories, theatre spaces and moot court, or perhaps venture out into the field with our paramedicine mobile unit or flight simulator.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe also have a wide range of career insight sessions such as \u2018A day in the life of a psychologist\u2019, \u2018Archaeologists don\u2019t dig dinosaurs\u2019 and \u2018Agricultural technology for flights to Mars\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
