South Burnett Regional Council has received $15,000 under the State Government’s 2021-22 Regional Arts Development Fund program.<\/p>\n

The funding, to assist local artists and art projects, is granted on the basis that local councils co-fund grants on a 60-40 basis.<\/p>\n

This means the SBRC will top-up its 2021-22 RADF scheme with another $10,000, making a total pool of $25,000 available.<\/p>\n

southburnett.com.au<\/strong> understands there is also at least $7700 unspent from previous RADF rounds, making a total pool of about $32,700 for arts projects during the next two rounds of RADF funding in the South Burnett.<\/p>\n

However, $11,288 of this amount has been pre-allocated towards the continuing co-investment with the Fraser Coast and Bundaberg councils to extend arts services across the region via the Central Queensland Regional Arts Network (CQ RASN), which is administered by\u00a0the Central Queensland University.<\/p>\n

This means there will be about $10,700 available for South Burnett artists in each RADF round.<\/p>\n
