Kilkivan State School has been named as a finalist in the\u00a02021 Showcase Awards<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Kilkivan State School has been named as a State Finalist in the 2021 Showcase Awards.<\/p>\n

Education Minister Grace Grace said 94 nominations had been received from 125 State schools.<\/p>\n

Finalists in the different categories have been chosen for their innovative and effective ways of improving student outcomes.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Showcase Awards are all about shining a spotlight on our dedicated teachers, principals, leadership teams and school communities who are setting our students up for success,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish all our finalists the very best.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe State award winners will be announced in an online presentation on October 29 which is also World Teachers\u2019 Day.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The finalists have been chosen in 10 categories.<\/p>\n

Kilkivan State School is one of two finalists in the “Showcase Award For Excellence In Rural And Remote Education” for their project, “Making Connections – Learning And Leading”.<\/p>\n

The school is also a member of a cluster of schools, the North Coast Curriculum Leaders, competing for the “Network 10 Showcase Award For Excellence In The Early and Primary Years” for their project, “Towards Zero”.<\/p>\n

Kilkivan State School was\u00a0a regional winner in the 2020 awards for their program, \u201cWorking Together, Learning Together\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
