The South Burnett Saints’ women are currently at fourth spot on the competition ladder<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Saints’ last AFL home games for 2021 were played at Lyle Vidler Oval at the weekend, but the opposition proved just too strong for the home team.<\/p>\n

In the women’s game, the Goondiwindi Hawks defeated the Saints 5.13-43 to 1.2-8.<\/p>\n

Olivia Eriksen scored the Saints’ only goal.<\/p>\n

The Saints’ women have a bye this weekend but still have a chance of making it into the finals – depending on the outcome of this weekend’s game between Dalby and University.<\/p>\n

In the men’s game, Goondiwindi were also dominant, finishing 13.12-90 to 3.5-23.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Pressnells scored the Saints’ goals: Jordan (2) and Brad.<\/p>\n

This weekend, the South Burnett men will be taking on competition leaders Coolaroo at Rockville Oval in Toowoomba.<\/p>\n
