COVID-19 has stopped the popular Dinner With The Captains Relay For Life fundraiser for the second year in a row.<\/p>\n

The dinner was to be held at Kingaroy Town Hall on Saturday night and would have featured guest speakers\u00a0Allan \u201cAlfie\u201d Langer AM, Natalie Cook OAM\u00a0and\u00a0Kelvin Kerkow OAM.<\/p>\n

It was booked out.<\/p>\n

The decision not to go ahead with the event occurred on Saturday morning after the announcement of the snap south-east Queensland COVID-19 lockdown.<\/strong><\/p>\n

South Burnett Relay For Life patron Carl Rackemann told southburnett.com.au<\/strong> he hoped the dinner could be rescheduled for later this year, but everything was very uncertain.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
