A COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine “super clinic” will be running at Cherbourg Hall from August 3-5.<\/p>\n

The Cherbourg clinic will be set up to accommodate all eligible South Burnett residents aged 16 years and over.<\/p>\n

A Darling Downs Health spokesperson said everyone who was eligible can pre-register their interest.<\/p>\n

Registration forms are available at Cherbourg Hospital, Murgon Hospital and the Cherbourg Council office.<\/p>\n

Staff will be available to help with the forms.<\/p>\n

Registrations can also be done online via www.vaccinebookings.health.qld.gov.au<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

“If you have questions about the vaccine, talk to your doctor or health care worker to get the right, up-to-date information,” the Darling Downs Health spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

“The vaccination is safe and is free. It is the best way to protect yourself, your loved ones, and your community.<\/p>\n

“If you plan to attend the clinic, please bring ID, your Medicare card, and a pen.<\/p>\n

“The clinic will be open from 8:30am to 4:00pm from Tuesday, August 3, to Thursday, August 5.”<\/p>\n

The spokesperson said people who had received one dose of the Astra Zeneca vaccine, which has been provided recently through GPs and Aboriginal Medical Services, should receive a second dose of Astra Zeneca and not the Pfizer vaccine.<\/p>\n
