Queensland Health has updated its list of COVID-19 exposure sites in Brisbane after three new cases of community transmission were confirmed on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The three cases are a Brisbane International Airport worker, a 12-year-old child and a parent of the child.<\/p>\n

The new locations include sites at Annerley, Aspley, Maroochydore and Stones Corner.<\/p>\n

There are now 50 active cases in Queensland.<\/p>\n

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk also announced that restrictions that were due to ease in 11 Council areas will continue to apply for another week.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The restrictions, which include wearing masks in public, apply in the Brisbane City, Gold Coast,\u00a0Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Logan, Moreton Bay, Noosa, Redlands, Scenic Rim, Somerset and Sunshine Coast council areas.<\/p>\n

Visitors to hospitals, aged care homes, disability centres and correctional facilities will not be allowed, and gatherings\u00a0will be limited to 30 people.<\/p>\n

The restrictions in the Townsville and Palm Island council areas will ease as planned at 6:00am on Friday.<\/p>\n

The Premier also warned Queenslanders against travelling to Victoria, and said authorities were still monitoring the outbreaks in NSW.<\/p>\n

According to NSW Health, there have been 929 locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the Sydney area since June 16.<\/p>\n
