{"id":302024,"date":"2021-07-08T20:53:53","date_gmt":"2021-07-08T10:53:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=302024"},"modified":"2021-07-08T20:53:53","modified_gmt":"2021-07-08T10:53:53","slug":"grants-program-offers-250000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2021\/07\/08\/grants-program-offers-250000\/","title":{"rendered":"Grants Program Offers $250,000"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><figure id=\"attachment_227900\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-227900\" style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/natalie-egleton-200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"350\" class=\"size-full wp-image-227900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/natalie-egleton-200.jpg 200w, https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/natalie-egleton-200-171x300.jpg 171w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-227900\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">FRRR CEO Natalie Egleton (Photo: Twitter)<\/figcaption><\/figure><strong>July 8, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications for ANZ Bank\u2019s Seeds of Renewal program are now open, with grants of up to $15,000 available to not-for-profit organisations in remote, rural and regional areas.<\/p>\n<p>Seeds Of Renewal was established in 2003 and is administered by the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR).<\/p>\n<p>In the past 18 years it has provided more than $5 million to more than 800 community groups to support local projects and help build vibrant and sustainable rural and regional communities, including several projects in the South Burnett.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, the ANZ Seeds of Renewal program is offering a total of $250,000 to community organisations in remote, rural or regional locations for projects that improve:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Environmental sustainability:<\/strong> initiatives that restore and conserve the natural environment or which contribute to lower carbon emissions, water stewardship and waste minimisation\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Financial wellbeing:<\/strong> particularly for under-represented and disadvantaged people in the community, including initiatives that improve economic participation such as building financial literacy and vocational skills, and providing access to meaningful work\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Housing access:<\/strong> initiatives and programs that support those experiencing or at risk of homelessness or that provide supports for people living with disability\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;With the cumulative impacts of drought, fires, floods and COVID-19, raising funds locally is extremely challenging in smaller communities, so access to grants is more important than ever,&#8221; FRRR CEO Natalie Egleton said. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We encourage community groups to consider the funding opportunity that Seeds of Renewal can provide to address local issues such as improving existing facilities.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications open on July 8 and close at 5:00pm AEST on Wednesday, August 11.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For more information about ANZ Seeds of Renewal, or to apply for a grant visit <a href=\"https:\/\/frrr.org.au\/funding\/people-grants\/anz-seeds-of-renewal\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>FRRR&#8217;s website<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Applications for ANZ Bank\u2019s Seeds of Renewal program are now open, with grants of up to $15,000 available to not-for-profit organisations in remote, rural and regional areas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":227901,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[3],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
