{"id":301899,"date":"2021-07-06T19:55:16","date_gmt":"2021-07-06T09:55:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=301899"},"modified":"2021-07-07T13:33:59","modified_gmt":"2021-07-07T03:33:59","slug":"cyclist-critically-injured","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2021\/07\/06\/cyclist-critically-injured\/","title":{"rendered":"Cyclist Critically Injured"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>July 6, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A teenager was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after a mountain bike incident on the Bunya Mountains on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency services were called to a location off Bunya Avenue at 4:20pm.<\/p>\n<p>QAS paramedics assessed three people at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Two people were taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.<\/p>\n<p>The third, a male teenager, was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane with serious head injuries.<\/p>\n<p>He travelled in a critical condition, under the care of a LifeFlight critical care doctor and\u00a0 paramedic.<\/p>\n<p>The SGAS LifeFlight helicopter\u00a0landed near the scene where the crew rendezvoused with paramedics.<\/p>\n<p><b>[UPDATED with correction.
