Agriculture Minister David Littleproud is inviting dairy farmers to have their say on the Dairy Code of Conduct.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0public submission period for the first review of the Code opens on Monday (July 5) and will run until August 15.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mr Littleproud said the Federal Government was seeking input from dairy farmers, processors, industry representative bodies, government agencies and consumer organisations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Dairy Code of Conduct was introduced on January 1, 2020, to address market imbalances in the dairy industry,\u201d Minister Littleproud said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn this first review, feedback is required to make sure the code is operating as intended.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe code is an important part of the dairy industry, and we want to make sure it is working positively for Australian farmers and businesses.”<\/p>\n
