A special morning tea was held at the Kingaroy Ambulance Station on Tuesday morning to farewell one paramedic and welcome a recent arrival.<\/p>\n

Anne-Marie Praeger has been based in Kingaroy since March 2018 and is now transferring to a station in Brisbane.<\/p>\n

Thomas Powell started in Kingaroy last month.<\/p>\n

The former intensive care unit nurse studied a Bachelor of Paramedicine and Nursing at Queensland University of Technology.<\/p>\n

Kingaroy is his first station after graduating.<\/p>\n

Kingaroy QAS officer-in-\u200bcharge\u00a0Mei-Lin Dean\u00a0presented Anne-Marie with a gift from her colleagues.<\/p>\n

Local Ambulance Committee (LAC) president John Box thanked her for her service and welcomed Thomas to town.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Members of the Kingaroy LAC as well as many paramedics from the Kingaroy station attended the morning tea.<\/p>\n

There are currently 19 QAS paramedics based in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n
