Former Murgon Shire councillor Bob Eisenmenger<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

June 28, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n

A funeral for former Murgon Shire councillor Bob Eisenmenger will be held on July 6 in Murgon.<\/p>\n

Mr Eisenmenger, from Merlwood, died on Saturday, aged 79, after a long illness.<\/p>\n

He was elected to Murgon Shire Council in March 1982 and served for 26 years, through to amalgamation in 2008.<\/p>\n

Mr Eisenmenger was a former chairman of the\u00a0Murgon Lutheran congregation, former director of the Merlwood Water Board and a Chief Steward at the Murgon Show for many years.<\/p>\n

He was also patron of the Murgon and District Cricket Club.<\/p>\n

Family and friends have been invited to attend Mr Eisenmenger’s funeral which will be held at St Paul\u2019s Lutheran Church from 11:30am on July 6, to be followed by a private cremation.<\/p>\n

Mr Eisenmenger is survived by his wife Dot, three children and five grandchildren.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
