{"id":300486,"date":"2021-06-10T12:03:49","date_gmt":"2021-06-10T02:03:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=300486"},"modified":"2021-06-10T18:39:23","modified_gmt":"2021-06-10T08:39:23","slug":"toowoomba-taken-off-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2021\/06\/10\/toowoomba-taken-off-list\/","title":{"rendered":"Toowoomba Taken Off List"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>June 10, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Queensland Health has released an updated list of exposure sites linked to the latest COVID-19 case.<\/p>\n<p>In good news, the Toowoomba location, and several other preliminary sites identified on Wednesday afternoon, have been removed from the &#8220;close contact&#8221; list.<\/p>\n<p>They are now classified as &#8220;casual contact&#8221; locations.<\/p>\n<p>However, people who have visited any of the close or casual locations must get tested and fill in a Contact Tracing Form.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>More information is available on the Queensland Health <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qld.gov.au\/health\/conditions\/health-alerts\/coronavirus-covid-19\/current-status\/contact-tracing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #006699;\"><strong>Close Contacts<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>People who have been at any of the following locations at the relevant times, must quarantine immediately at home, and get tested as soon as possible:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>June 5 &#8211; McDonalds, Goondiwindi (BP Complex, Cunningham Highway)\u00a0 &#8211; 7:25am-7:50am<\/li>\n<li>June 6 &#8211;\u00a0Sunny&#8217;s @ Moffat, Moffat Beach &#8211; 2:30pm-3:00pm<\/li>\n<li>June 6 &#8211; Coffee Cat, Kings Beach &#8211; 3:20pm-4:40pm<\/li>\n<li>June 7 &#8211; The Coffee Club, Caloundra Shopping Centre, Caloundra &#8211; 10:45am-11:10am<\/li>\n<li>June 7 &#8211;\u00a0Female toilet near JB Hi-Fi, Buddina (Kawana Shoppingworld) &#8211; 12:50pm-1:15pm<\/li>\n<li>June 7 &#8211; Kawana Shoppingworld foodcourt, Buddina &#8211; 1:30pm-2:15pm<\/li>\n<li>June 8 &#8211; Female toilets near White&#8217;s SupaIGA, Baringa\u00a0 &#8211; 4:00pm-4:15pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #006699;\"><strong>Casual Contacts<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>People who have been at the following locations at the relevant times\u00a0should get tested immediately, even if they have no symptoms, and quarantine until they receive a negative result:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>June 5 &#8211; Caltex Super Petrol Station, Ruthven and James streets, Toowoomba &#8211;\u00a010:45am &#8211; 11:15am<\/li>\n<li>June 7 &#8211;\u00a0Caloundra Shopping Centre -10:30am-11:45am<\/li>\n<li>June 7 &#8211; Kmart (women&#8217;s section), Caloundra Shopping Centre &#8211; 10:45am-11:30am<\/li>\n<li>June 7 &#8211; Bunnings Caloundra &#8211; noon-12:40pm<\/li>\n<li>June 7 &#8211; JB Hi-Fi, Kawana Shoppingworld &#8211; 1:10pm-1:40pm<\/li>\n<li>June 8 &#8211;\u00a0White&#8217;s SupaIGA, Baringa &#8211; 3:45pm-4:15pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young confirmed on Thursday morning both the woman &#8211; confirmed positive on Wednesday &#8211; and her husband had now tested positive to COVID-19.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>She said they both appeared to be at a late stage of infection.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Young said there were no plans at this stage to lock down aged care facilities, hospitals or jails.<\/p>\n<p>However, she urged anyone who had had attended any of the exposure sites to get tested as soon as possible and isolate until they get a negative result.<\/p>\n<p>Queensland Health has identified 17 close contacts of the original couple, including the parents in the Caloundra household where the couple was staying.
